Of all the parodies I have sung to audiences the Bonnie Nips o' Whisky(Loch Lomond) parody seems to go down the best. It's
my favourite funny song parody of all my music parodies.
1
As I went oot a walkin, one fine summers day, I met wee Sammy McAuley,
He says to me,I,ll buy ye a hauf, o the bonnie, bonnie nips o whisky.
CHORUS
Oh ye tak a big dram and Ill tak a wee dram, but I ll get blootered afore ye,
for me and my body, we dinnae agree,wi the bonnie, bonnie nips o whisky.
2
Oh he bought the first drink, an I bought the next yin, and then the whiskys were sinking,
an when I couldnae stand, he geid a helping hand, intae me he poured the bonnie nips o whisky.
3
Then Sammy he lay doon, whaur I was lyin doon, an the ceilin was fairly spinnin,
an the barmaids were fair, they helped us happy pair, by pouring intae us some mair whisky.
4
Before the night was done, oor money was all gone, and oor vital signs, they were fading,
there was nothing they could do, to resurrect us two, so they gied us another nip o whisky.
5
So were deid and gone, but the drinking still went on, so oor wings were taken fae us,
for tae be an angel in the sky, ye cannae drink and fly, so heres tae the bonnie nips o whisky

Loch Lomond Holidays( Loch Lomond)
Verse 1
By yon bonnie banks and yon bonnie braes,
Where the midges are bitin on Loch Lomond,
Where me and my true love were quickly chased away,
By the midges on the banks o Loch Lomond.
Chorus
Oh you can take the high road or you can take the low road,
But the midges will be there before ye,
So me and my true love will never bathe again,
On the bonne bonnie banks o loch lomond.
Verse 2
One day we were walking down a very shady glen,
On the steep, steep side o Ben Loamin,
Where in the purple hue, we were chased by a heilan coo!
An the midges were attacking in swarms
verse 3
The locals they were watching as we went for a swim,
And they laughed as the water was freezing,
But ye should have seen us swim, when we saw this mighty fin,
It was jaws in the waters o loch lomond.
Verse 4
On we did trek wi our tartan shirts and shorts,
The nettles on our legs, they were stinging,
We were humming Brig -a -doon, when the rain came pouring doon,
On the bonnie bonnie banks o Loch lomond.
Verse 5
It was time for going home, to the shops we did roam,
For some souveniers o bonnie Scotland,
We bought cans o Scottish rain and a dozen Haggis tarts,
And twenty sets of teeth off a Nessie.
